What does BIOPTICS mean?
BIOPTICS procedures combine the implantation of an artificial lens with laser eye treatment. The most common method is the implantation of an artificial lens in combination with LASIK. This treatment is usually carried out when the farsightedness is significantly greater than +4 diopters (dpt.) or the nearsightedness is much greater than -8 dpt.
Dr. Beate Steinhorst will advise you personally and individually about the BIOPTICS procedures that may be suitable for your eyes.
