Absolutely deserved 5 stars! I got a first offer from the competitor CV. There I felt like I was being badly advised. At the LZW Wiesbaden, it was exactly the other way around. Dr. Steinhorst and her entire team are incredibly kind and empathetic. From the very beginning, you feel safe, well cared for, and given excellent advice. The optician also does a fantastic job and provides outstanding consultations. All in all, I would choose this practice again in a heartbeat and can wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone. For comparison, I had several consultations with other providers beforehand, and none of them came close to this practice. Elsewhere, I felt pressured and became rude if I didn't immediately sign a contract and schedule an appointment for the surgery. I simply didn't feel comfortable there. Femto-LASIK -> You only want to entrust such an important organ as your eyes to the best hands. And I found those hands in Wiesbaden 🙂 From the very beginning, I felt very well cared for here. Anyone complaining about the waiting times should remember that Dr. Steinhorst takes ample time for each patient, and you don't feel like just a number (like at other doctors' offices), but like a valued individual. Wearing contact lenses is much more likely to cause an infection than laser treatment. Poor hygiene can lead to corneal inflammation with serious consequences.
You can’t do anything wrong during the operation itself either.
Blinking or accidentally looking to the side is not a danger, as the laser tracks the eye at millisecond intervals and immediately stops the laser.
The laser light is invisible to the human eye. You will only see a small focusing light, which helps you orient yourself. During the laser treatment, which only takes 30 seconds per eye, you won't feel a thing thanks to numbing eye drops. 🙂

Laser eye surgery is well-suited for people between the ages of 18 and 45. There are various laser eye surgery procedures, but all are painless and safe. The gold standard, which we also use at our Wiesbaden Laser Center, is Femto-LASIK. This procedure is even safer and only takes 30 seconds per eye.
lens surgery
From €2,000 per eye
Lens surgery is a good option from around the age of 40. It is suitable for treating presbyopia, cataracts, and also when laser treatment is not possible due to high diopters. Many different lenses are available. At the Wiesbaden Laser Center, we use only premium lenses.

Would you describe yourself as an anxiety patient?
Don't worry, in our private eye clinic in Wiesbaden we have a special package just for anxious patients.
If you wish, we can carry out the treatment under short-term anesthesia. We have specially trained anesthesiologists for this. We also make the treatment as pleasant and stress-free as possible for you. We will stay by your side throughout the entire process. Lasering feel (even without anesthesia) due to the anesthetic eye drops not.
That means the treatment goes something like this: You get eye drops – look briefly at a bright light – close your eyes and that's it. 🙂
