I always felt I was in excellent hands at the LSZ Wiesbaden.
Dr. Steinhorst took plenty of time to provide a very understandable and comprehensive explanation, and the treatment was of the highest professional standard.
Dr. Jovanovic, the anesthesiologist, was also extremely professional, calm, and trustworthy. The collaboration between Dr. Steinhorst and Dr. Jovanovic appeared perfectly coordinated and competent.
The aftercare was excellently organized and very attentive. The entire team is friendly, helpful, and creates a pleasant atmosphere.
Overall, the care was first-class, both professionally and personally. I can wholeheartedly recommend the LSZ Wiesbaden and especially Dr. Steinhorst.

A fantastic practice and a super friendly team! Everything went smoothly, from the surgery to the aftercare. Dr. Steinhorst is incredibly kind and completely alleviated my fear of the LASIK procedure.

I am more than satisfied with my treatment by Dr. Steinhorst! From the initial consultation to the follow-up care, I always felt I was in excellent hands. Dr. Steinhorst is very experienced, calm, and extremely empathetic – she takes her time, explains everything clearly, and immediately inspires trust.
The entire practice and surgical team was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. On the day of the operation, I felt completely safe and well cared for.

Dr. Steinhorst is very calming and explains everything very precisely.
The LASIK surgery itself was a bit more difficult for me because of my small eyelids and pointed cheekbones, but everything went well and was over very quickly.
Just open your eyes and get through it.

Dr. Steinhorst and the entire team were very competent and friendly. All my questions regarding the use of trifocal lenses in both eyes were answered. The surgery under general anesthesia went smoothly, and I am very happy with the result.

I had my Femto-LASIK procedure on February 2nd, 2024, and what can I say, I'm thrilled! I had nearsightedness of -8 diopters and had worn glasses since the fourth grade, and then eventually contact lenses, because glasses with that prescription were pure torture for me. Pressure marks everywhere, and my vision wasn't optimal either.
On the day of the operation, I would like to say the following:
I was incredibly nervous, but thanks to the lovely Dr. Steinhorst and her assistant, who also took wonderful care of me and explained every step, it was all over in less than 10 or 15 minutes. It all went so fast. Right after the surgery, I could read the clock in the operating room. I was completely stunned and hadn't even realized I could SEE WITHOUT glasses until they briefly put my old glasses on me for comparison, and I said, "Oh wow, whose are these?" I couldn't see anything with my old glasses anymore! Everything was blurry with them and sharp without them! A miracle! I still can't believe that after all these years, I can finally see the world without corrective lenses. My perception has completely changed. Thank you for my new vision! I truly see the world with different eyes and am overjoyed to have taken this path. After my second check-up, it was confirmed again, and I can now have my driver's license amended. The "corrective lenses" restriction can be removed.

The optician also does a fantastic job and provides outstanding consultations. All in all, I would choose this practice again without hesitation and highly recommend it to everyone.

I had lens surgery (multifocal IOLs) about 3 weeks ago with Dr. Steinhorst and her team and I am very satisfied with the result.
I had previously consulted with two other clinics, but I had the feeling that things were done "like on an assembly line" there.
A friend thankfully recommended the LZW and Dr. Steinhorst to me. Dr. Steinhorst and her team impressed me right from the start. I felt very well cared for there. Dr. Steinhorst took plenty of time and addressed each of my questions and concerns in detail. I felt very well advised afterward and never felt pressured to have surgery. I found that very positive.
The day of the surgery and the (so far) follow-up appointments were also very professional and yet pleasantly relaxed.
The result: On the first day after surgery, both eyes showed 100%. No complications, no pain, no problems. Today was the third follow-up appointment, with the same result: Both eyes 100% 🙂
Long story short: I am extremely satisfied and very happy that I chose Dr. Steinhorst and the LZW team.

Good service is also recognized by how situations are handled when things don't go well. In sales, we call this "complaint management".
In my case, the result on my right eye was unsatisfactory. After some frustration and persistence expressed in emails, I was taken seriously, and a long, detailed, and very friendly conversation ensued with the laser technician, Udo.
After the required 6 months, a corrective laser treatment was performed.
The explanations, the practice team, Ms. Steinhorst herself and Udo are worth a trip to Wiesbaden.
My motivation to have laser eye surgery came from recommendations. These led my partner to have the procedure done there in December 2022, with fantastic results. I followed suit in December 2023.
Conclusion: Even if it doesn't work the first time, which is probably rare, you can rely on it being corrected.

I received two new lenses in December 2023 and am very, very happy with the result. I'm only writing this review now because my left eye simply needed more time than my right. I would like to sincerely thank Dr. Steinhorst and her team. At my third follow-up appointment, I was very dissatisfied because I still couldn't see very well with my left eye. I was taken seriously, and Dr. Steinhorst examined me carefully, explained why my left eye simply needed more time, and asked me for patience. And she was right; now, after 3.5 months, I can see really well, exactly as I had hoped. I no longer need glasses, my depth perception is excellent, and I can drive at night without any problems. The holograms around lights are still present, but that will also improve.

Absolutely deserved 5 stars! I got an initial quote from the competitor CV. There I felt like I was being given bad advice. At the LZW Wiesbaden, it was exactly the other way around. From the first conversation on, time was taken and my questions and concerns were always dealt with in a timely and understanding manner. That is very pleasant and reassuring, especially when it comes to the topic of eyes. Despite the intensive care, appointments were always kept very well, there were never excessive waiting times. On the day of the operation (Lasik), I was very well looked after from start to finish, including a small snack and coffee when I woke up. The anesthetist and the entire team also contributed to the good all-round package with their great manner. I would definitely give it the rating "Absolutely recommended"! Thank you for the new feeling of life without glasses!
